Mimi was born in Rochester N.Y., attended Marietta College, and graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park N.Y. She baked gingerbread houses at The World Trade Center's Windows on the World with Chef Albert Kumin, former Pastry Chef at the White House.
Following graduation, she catered high end events with Jimmy Duffy and Sons Caterers in Philadelphia, was Pastry Chef at Richardson's Canal House Inn in Rochester, N.Y., where her holiday display was featured in Country Living magazine, and worked as Director of Catering for Oak Hill Country Club. She also held various positions with Stouffer/Renaissance Hotels including Catering Manager, Sales Manager and Associate Director of Sales. It was a transfer with the company that brought her to Cleveland.
She is currently married with two sons and lives in Brecksville, Ohio where she continues her passion for baking fabulous desserts.
